Charger Engineering Limited is a custom metal services shop and manufacturer. Since 1985, Charger has become known as a trusted partner for Services including Machining, Metal Processing (shearing, forming, rolling, cutting), Machine Design and Building / Re-building and Fabrication. Charger Engineering Ltd. is the manufacturer of the Next Generation Belt-Slitter and Sawmill Machinery and Mining Equipment components.

Located in Surrey, BC, our immediate service area includes Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.  Our expertise and equipment mean we are also in demand throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.

Machine Design & Building

Produces OEM Machinery and Equipment Components which are custom-built for your needs, along with our Next Generation® Power Belt-Slitter, which is well-known as a work-horse in the Belting Industry. Our Belt-Slitters are money-makers for companies throughout North America.

Charger Engineering has the expertise and shop capacity to build and re-build Machinery and equipment which rivals many larger companies. From the beginning, we have offered complete methods and theory, prototype development, and R&D services.

Custom Metal Services

Machining, including our horizontal floor mills, with up to a 25 ton capacity and vertical boring mills with up to a 193″ capacity.

Material Processing. Our high-capacity equipment allows us to work on shearing, forming, rolling, cutting, and other processes from gauge materials to heavy plate, including T1 and Boiler plating. Charger’s brake presses range from 10′ x 140 ton to 24′ x 1500 ton, which means there are not many bending projects we can’t handle. Our rollers go up to 1″ plate x 96″. Plasma, Track & Pattern Cutting rounds out our custom processing services.

Fabrication is where we started back in 1985. With our full Canadian Welding Bureau certification and a Canadian Standards Association approved quality assurance program, we are able to ensure world-class results for all of our customers.

Like all successful manufacturers, it is our dedicated employees that have allowed us to build a solid reputation as one of British Columbia’s best CWBC companies, with a quality assurance program that allows us to work on projects such as the re-building of Mine Hauler electric wheel motor housings to Canadian General Electric specifications.
